The wineries of the Sunshine Coast are growing in popularity among Australian wines, and once you visit the gorgeous valleys surrounding the Sunshine Coast, where the wineries are located, you will know why.

Located just about one hour outside of Brisbane , you will find hand picked grapes of all varieties that contribute to the character and uniqueness of the wines in this region. The wineries celebrate not only the taste of the wines themselves but embrace all of the rich tastes of the region offering cheese platters, restaurants, tours of the vineyards as well as the wineries and of course romantic gourmet picnics. Come and enjoy the tastes of the Queensland in incredibly scenic settings with breathtaking views, which just add to the experience. You will find the wines produced here to be very distinctive and full of character, an incredible experience for the true wine connoisseur.

If you are interested in visiting the vineyards in the region, two of the most popular are the Little Morgue Winery and Robinson at Noosa.

The Little Morgue Winery – The Little Morgue Winery is located at what used to be an actual morgue, which makes this one vineyard you won’t soon forget. While the outside of the building may look like an old haunted house, the inside has been gorgeously remodeled to reflect the fine wines that are bottled here. The Little Morgue Winery has a wonderful restaurant that follows the theme of the rest of the vineyard, including items such as Sudden Death by Chocolate, Mummified Flesh, and one of the vineyards outstanding wines, Supreme Afterlife. If you are going to visit the vineyards in Australia’s Sunshine Coast region, you cannot miss the Little Morgue Winery.

ROBINSONS AT NOOSA – This incredible winery is also a B & B, set right within the vineyards. Strategically located, to allow for tourists to take advantage of all the region has to offer, Robinsons at Noosa offers several comfortable rooms as well as an incredible saltwater pool, a driving range, a BBQ, and a pool table. The perfect place to hold a wedding, or take a romantic trip, Robinsons is really geared toward couples and is an adult getaway.
